Tags

With the show rapidly approaching, Grace and I are wrapping things up. Most of my work was on the front end of the project, so poor Grace is sewing her little heart out, and I am helping where I can. Since Grace and I are super perfectionists and pay very close attention to detail, we decided it would be great if we had tags with our name in the garments. No one will see the tags, but we will at least know they're there. Last week, I screened the logo onto some hand dyed fabric and stitched the edges for a nice clean look and voila!


Still no pictures of the clothes, but at least you can see the tags!

We're Still Here

Just a quick post to promise that we haven't forgotten about our blog! Grace DuVal and I have been slaving away preparing for our "dry run" THIS Sunday! Sheesh! Time has really flown by and we are working down to the wire. Everything is coming together and looking beautiful. I can't begin to explain how excited I am! We will spend the next couple of weeks tying up loose ends and preparing for the actual event!

I thought I might include some details for the event because we hope to see you all there! The show will be on Saturday, May 1st at 3:30 pm at Can Can Brasserie (3120 W. Cary St, Richmond). The models will walk the bar as the catwalk to live music written specifically for the collection. After the show, we will hold a reception for guests to view the garments more closely and ask the designers any questions. We will NOT be posting any progress photos, so you'll have to come to the show to see the looks! We can't wait to see you there!!
